Grace Theological College makes a distinction between a religious degree and a liberal arts degree.
While a liberal arts education attempts to provide a broad foundation of general studies, the religious degree provides a concentration in practical skills which may be exercised in the student’s profession within the structure of a ministry.
ALL admitted students will be awarded up to six credits for every one year of verifiable ministry service up to a maximum of thirty credits.
The Grace Theological College graduate degree-completion program allows students to maintain their professional positions while crafting their own educational study plan.
These religious degrees are founded upon the practical skills needed to function professionally within the student’s chosen field. Graduates may elect to apply for ordination as Non-Denominational Ministers or Interfaith Pastors upon the successful completion of their degrees.
Academic degrees are research-oriented, independent studies requiring the use of the GTC’s Online Research Library or a comparable physical research library. The master’s theses and the doctoral dissertations are written under faculty supervision and must be endorsed by the School's Dean. An oral defense is required. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the program.
Grace Theological College (GTC) offers students the opportunity to complete coursework directly through the GTC, in a hybrid format. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the program.
GTC also identifies and endorses programs and venues throughout the U.S. and abroad where students may complete the academic requirements of their degree program.
Students work at their own pace within the timeframe of their degree programs.
Masters professional religious degrees are oriented toward praxis in the relevant field of study with an emphasis placed upon topical issues, problem-solving agendas, and mechanisms for implementation strategies.
The exit project may be presented through the use of various media such as workbooks and manuals, videos, CD-ROMs, websites, and DVDs. The exit project is written under faculty supervision and is endorsed by the respective School's Dean. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the program.
Doctoral professional religious degrees are oriented towards praxis in the relevant field of study with an emphasis upon topical issues, problem-solving agendas, and mechanisms for implementation strategies. A dissertation and successful oral defense are required. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the program.
